Accessories
Easily attaches to the bottom of the rail via 3/8 thumb screws. The legs are adjustable to allow stable shots on uneven surfaces. The rubber feet grip to most surfaces without a problem. Strong, light weight, aluminium support with steel legs.
Digislider Controller
Allows control of the Digislider Motors in both directions from 0-100% power. It has an internal battery compartment for a 9V battery (not included), and has input for external 12V power source that overrides the battery power.
Motors
They easily slip on and screws securely to the end of the Digslider.
The Digislider motors, when attached, can operate the Digislider in a horizontal, vertical and upside down/overhead way. The motors are well suited to move small DSLRs to larger cameras with lenses, microphones, and other gear (about 6 kgs/13lbs maximum for horizontal movement and 3,5 kg/7.7 lbs maximum for vertical movement).
Digislider Fast Motor
(for video)
The Digislider Fast Motor is designed for video use and with the Digislider Controller will allow a top speed of 15 seconds per metre, using a 12v external battery, or 20 seconds per metre, using the controllers built-in 9V battery source. Its slowest speed is 1 minute per metre.
Digislider Slow Motor
(for time-lapse photography)
The Digislider Slow Motor is designed for time-lapse photography use and with the Digislider Controller will allow a top speed of 3.75 minutes per metre, using a 12v external battery, or 5 minutes per metre, using the controllers built-in 9V battery source. Its slowest speed is 25 minutes per metre, but with 6V external power, you can get up to 4 hours per metre.
It can also be used with the MX2 controller by Dynamic Perception which will enable:
• Shoot-Move-Shoot (Interleaved)
• Extended run time (up to days between moves)
• From 0.01″/0.25mm to 30.9″/78.5mm travel between shots
• “Simple” mode lets you specify travel in real-time
• Manual Motor Control
